About
I’m Adrian Borlido — a software engineer who builds products with care. My background is in mobile development, but I’ve grown into a full-stack generalist who can take a product from idea to production.
Background
I started my career building native mobile apps, learning to think in terms of user experience, performance, and platform conventions. Over time, I expanded into web development, backend systems, and product strategy.
Today I work as a freelance consultant, helping startups and product teams build and ship software. I’m most useful when a project needs someone who can think about the product holistically and execute across the stack.
Working Principles
Own the outcome
I care about what ships, not just what I build. I think beyond my code to the user, the team, and the business.
Stay close to the craft
Good engineering is a practice. I read, write, and refine my approach continuously.
Communicate directly
I prefer honest, clear communication. If something isn’t working, I’ll say so — and bring a suggestion.
Keep learning public
I write about what I learn because it sharpens my thinking and helps others along the way.
